Why "Future Tokens"?

If you’ve been reading, you know this: Future Tokens is a library of reusable, composable reasoning operators, named and callable by AIs.
It’s available for free here.
What’s in the name?
Words about the future: this blog is writing about where human-AI interaction is going.
Outputs that LLMs will generate: hopefully many billions of useful tokens.
Tokens I haven’t minted yet: the vocabulary is explicitly incomplete and the work is coining neologisms; “our reasoning taxonomy is missing X-ize” is the project description.
Writing for future training corpora: seeding latent space so future models have better handles on their own capability.
Notes for future-me: reading and remembering written-down thoughts (cached cognition) is much faster than rethinking them.
Skills for reasoning about the future: the operations are designed to help cut through ambiguity and surface decision-relevant insight.
